Vintage Badged Lebus Oak Double Wardrobe

A handsome vintage Lebus double wardrobe with a warm golden oak finish, elegant Art Deco-inspired detailing and the original Lebus Furniture badge. A practical, solid wardrobe offering generous hanging space while remaining manageable to move as it is constructed in one piece. The exterior is in good vintage condition with a rich colour throughout. The sides are generally very good, with a few small chips to the rear edges as expected with age and use. The front presents well, with only light surface wear and a few scuffs around the feet and in isolated areas. The single full-height door opens and closes well and comes complete with a working lock and key. The lock has a slight knack to operating, but functions correctly, or could easily be replaced if preferred. Inside are two hanging rails running from front to back, making it ideal for hanging garments, together with a central triple coat hook for additional storage. As a precaution, historic woodworm has been professionally treated, with evidence of previous activity visible near the lower side and on the rear panel. The wardrobe is solid and ready for use.
