Bespoke, exquisite 18k white gold brooch featuring Fire Opal and old cut natural Diamonds, made in the mid-20th Century.
White 18ct gold brooch with genuine Fire Opal stones and real diamonds.
The brooch is not marked; however, it was tested at the Assay Office, and it was confirmed that the brooch itself tested 18ct, except for the pin, hinge, and catch, which were made of 9ct. It is not a mass-produced design; it appears to be a one-of-a-kind piece.
Weigh approximately 8 gr.
Measures approximately 40 mm x 28 mm.
There are 23 natural diamonds in total, approximately 0.8 ct, and 5x genuine Fire Opal stones.
The brooch is in good condition. Please look at the photos as part of the description. Two Opal stones have a 'hairline' structural crack that flows through the opals, creating lines within them. Please see the last two pictures.
