Vintage Brass Sundial Roman Numerals Hours Pass Solid Gnomon

For sale is this wonderful vintage brass sundial. I would estimate it was made some time in the early to mid-20th century. It is hand-engraved with Roman numerals and the words "Hours Pass". The diameter of the dial is about 12.5 centimeters. Total weight is 185 grams. There are traces of glue beneath the dial indicating that at some point it was attached to a solid base. The brass has developed a nice dark brown/red patina over time. Some signs of wear and corrosion from being outdoors. It s a lovely piece which would make a great paperweight or even a desk object.
