Vintage Evans Jewelled Vanity Carry All Powder Compact Comb Lipstick Coin Purse

This glamorous 1950s Evans vanity carryall measures 13.5 cm by 8 cm with a depth of 2.5 cm and has attached rope twist carry chain. It is made of gold tone metal with opulent gold tone filigree lid encrusted with clear rhinestone floral motif. The case has double access and under the top lid is a bevelled glass clear and reflective mirror. At the centre of the case is a hinged comb holder with clear celluloid comb. In the base is a large open compartment with covered powder compact to one side and to the other side is a recess for the lipstick case and a coin holder beneath that. The powder compact is empty and the lipstick holder has red lipstick inside. The other side of the case opens to a large deep empty well with retaining metal band possibly for cigarettes, handkerchief or any other ladies essentials! Offered in very good condition with no dents or dings to the case and no missing stones on the lid. The bottom edge of the case has some dark marks and there is light discolouration to the carry chain and a dark mark on the inside of the cigarette section.
