A very beautiful evening handbag embroidered with silver metallic thread so it really shimmers in the light. Zardozi work is one of India's most prized crafts and dates back thousands of years. These bags became very popular in the 1950s - 1970s and still made today. This example probably dates to mid 20th century. With a silver cord handle and in overall great used condition.
