Description
Irish vintage copy of an antiquity Celtic brooch, a bit fanciful as it appears to be a half and half copy of the Hunterston and Tara brooches, incorporating elements of each.
Made in Dublin in the period from 1935 to late 1940s , made by J.C & S.
Around 1.5 inches both across and in height and is constructed hollow.
Stamped to the reverse with "J C & S" and "sterling" for sterling silver.
All is good, cleaned but not polished and has 70 years of toning on the silver.
