Vintage Jajim Kilim 2.18m x 1.58m

A beautiful vintage Jajim kilim, woven by the nomadic Qashqai tribe in the middle of the 20th Century. This kilim features a traditional banded design in reds, greens and greys. These kilims would have been woven to cover the bedding which would be moved to the edges of the tent during the day and make great contemporary floor coverings. Size: 2.18m x 1.58m (7ft 2in x 5ft 2in) This kilim is in good condition with minimal, age related wear. Slight discolouration to one of the green panels (see photos).
