Vintage Mid Century Light Oak Wood Office Desk

Vintage mid century oak wood office knee hole pedestal desk made in the early 1950s probably. Three drawers and a pull out flap on the left; same on the right but the bottom two drawers are in fact one deep drawer with filing sections, and the flap above has sections for paperclips and er..whatever you put in there. Officey things. There's a central drawer above the knee hole. No keys at present though we'll try to search one out. The drawer handles are classic 50s style, apparently in solid brass, as far as I can tell. The top has an inset skiver of rexine or a similar leather substitute, in a dark pink/light maroon colour, with gold coloured trim pattern around the edge. In pleasingly minimalist style, rather daring for the time, it sits on four beechwood pin legs, tapering to a brass ferrule with adjustable feet: they call it a floating desk.
