Vintage Pine Knee Hole Pedestal Desk

Condition is pretty good structurally: it's solid enough and the drawers and door work fine. The top is slightly bowed but screws down well enough. Cosmetically there are various marks, scuffs, dings and scratches but nothing too horrid. Left side slightly rough from being stripped maybe. It's been well used but looks nice for it. There's no key for the door lock: looks like it works but we couldn't find one in our box of keys; a locksmith could make you one if needed. Meanwhile we put a magnet catch inside to hold the door shut. This was waxed in the past but most of that has gone; we also stripped the top as it was quite marked, so there's very little finish on this piece. I've opted not to re wax it as it looks fine and you might want to oil or varnish the top. Ask us to wax it if you like; it'll be a bit darker though.
