Vintage Scottish Brooch Pin with Orange / Yellow Natural Citrine 9ct Gold, Hallmarked

This is a rather nice vintage 9ct gold Scottish brooch pin set with a vibrant orange/yellow natural citrine, it's a long thin design, 8 cm or 3 inch, of twisted 9ct gold, reminiscent of the medical double snake symbol of the Staff of Asclepius or The Caduceus. The citrine is securely claw mounted and has an approximate carat weight of 9.5 ct. fully hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1968 and made by T.B. who is Thomas Kelso Ebbutt, whose company was in Edinburgh until taken over by Hamilton & Inches towards the end of the last century, a good 9ct gold pin and a safety "C" catch completes this beautiful brooch.
