Description
Scottish Celtic design "hand & half" sword with a targe or shield set in the sword, 2 inches long, stamped lightly, to the hilt, "sterling silv." and with a safety "C" catch and a good pin, could do with a light clean.
Age/period; 1940 to 70s, though the design originated/was made popular in the 1920s when Alexander Ritchie re-used the design.
Decorated to the front with a dot and worn Celtic Knot design. Light enough for a lapel pin or for loosely woven clothing.
