Description
A sweet and discrete silver brooch of a targe or shield over a crossed sword and axe, cast as one piece, decorated with a Celtic design to the front of the shield, a central circular cabochon moonstone claw set within the shield supplies contrast, fully hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1964 and made by H.W.&S. H. Wright and Son. Perfect lapel size at a comfortable 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 inch or 4 cm maximum size, good "C" catch and pin and a fitted loop for a safety chain.
