Description
A lovely little bag, handwoven in southern Persia (possibly Afshar) circa 1920. These bags were typically woven by nomadic tribes and used to carry their possessions during their annual migrations. Lovely colours!
This bag is in very good condition with only minimal wear. Fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
