Vintage Sterling Silver Penannular Brooch 1950s, Hallmarked

This is a small size, vintage sterling silver penannular brooch or cloak pin, assayed and hallmarked as sterling silver in Glasgow in 1950, the maker is Henderson and Horner Bros of Buchanan Street, Glasgow, prolific makers of quality Scottish and Celtic jewellery. Decorated to the front with a line and circle or dot pattern with vague Celtic Knots to the heads and the pin mount, to the reverse is the hallmarks, "103-- made in Scotland". Small and light suitable for a lapel and fabrics, size 1.25x 1.5 inch approx. Partially cleaned bit not polished. All is good.
