On offer is this patriotic early 1940s sweetheart powder compact in the form of a US army officer's cap. The compact is made of celluloid in khaki and brown with gold foil badge above the brim. Made to be given to your sweetheart back home! The case has firm hinge and strong catch and the lid lifts up to reveal a perfectly clear and reflective glued glass mirror under the lid. The deep powder well in the base retains the original unused sifter and puff. This rare, novelty powder compact measures 3 inches across the top lid and is offered in very good unused condition with no major flaws noted.
