Lovely Malacca wood, tagua nut and solid silver walking stick or cane. The silver has the London hallmark with the date letter for 1918 and makers mark for Jonathan Howell Co Ltd. The silver collar cups the pommel top and is decorated with engraveing. Strong Malacca shaft with a lovely tagua nut pommel grown from the elephant palm and native to South America. The ferrule is original made of bullet shaped steel. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
It measures 89.5 cm 35 1/4 inches in length, the pommel is 4.9 cm 1 15/16 inches wide.

It's in excellent condition but with some signs of age and use as you'd expect at this age. Surface marks to the silver as shown, please see the pictures. Surface marks to the shaft, Malacca is a fibrous wood so this is not unusual. Really strong with no breaks or repairs.
