Stunning Edwardian rosewood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane. The silver was assayed in Birmingham as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1921 and makers mark for John Thomas Heath. Large silver pommel is beautifully engraved with foliage and floral decoration as well as the date 27-6-22 around the side and the initials HIW to the top. The quality is excellent. The shaft is rosewood and as you can see in the pictures the colour contrast in the wood is very good. It also makes this a really strong cane with a good weight. The ferrule is original and made of brass and steel. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
It measures 92 cm 36 1/2 inches in length, the pommel is 4.3 cm 1 11/16 inches wide and 6 cm 2 3/8 inches long.
