Lovely rosewood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane. The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1921. The makers mark for Henry Stratford. Lovely tagua nut pommel grown on the elephant plant and native to South America, a silver collar. Being a natural grown nut you'll see one dark spot in the surface, this was just how the nut grew and not later damage. Nice grain pattern and good colour Mounted on an rosewood shaft, a good weight cane with deep colour so the grain pattern isn't as profound as some examples. Really strong and will support a good weight. The ferrule is made of brass. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
It measures 92 cm 36 1/4 inches in length, the pommel is 5 cm 1 15/16 inches wide.
