Super Malacca and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane. The pommel to the top is a beautifully grained Unakite or moss agate sphere. The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1922 and has the makers mark for James Aitken & Co of Spencer Street Birmingham. The sphere pommel sits well into the trumpet shapes silver collar. The shaft is Malacca which is a fibrous wood and is strong enough to support a good weight. The colour of the shaft blends beautifully with the colours of the Unakite. The silver is in excellent condition with no splits, holes or damage just some surface marks as you can see in the pictures. The ferrule is made of brass.
