Another lovely cane from the collection we're selling, all new to the market as they've been in a private collection for many years. Ebony wood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane with a tigers eye ball top. The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1923 and makers mark for Charles S Green & Co. The marks are rubbed but can still be seen with a glass. Lovely plain silver collar and the graining and colour to the stone are beautiful. The ferrule is made of brass. Please contact us with any questions you may have.

condition

It's in excellent condition but with some signs of age and use as you'd expect at this age. Some bumps, scratches and pitting to the silver as shown. Fault line through the tigers eye but natural to the stone and sound. The ebony shaft is in good order with no damage, just some minor marks to the surface.
