Victorian Malacca hard wood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane with a beautiful tigers eye stone pommel top. This cane has everything going for it. The tigers eye pommel has good colour and pattern and the pale Malacca wood really sets of the colour in the stone. The silver isn't marked but has tested as 925 quality. Possibly made in Indian for the English market which was common at the end of the 19th century. Super strong shaft with it's original polished red deer antler ferrule. The overall feel of the cane is a large substantial cane that will support a lot of weight. Absolutely stunning cane that is strong enough to support a good weight. It measures 92.5 cm 36 1/2 inches in length, the pommel is 4.8 cm 1 7/8 inches wide.
