Lovely ebony and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane. The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1918. The makers mark for Mitchell & Co. Lovely tagua nut pommel grown on the elephant plant and native to South America, sitting in a silver collar with nice grain pattern and good colour. Mounted on an ebony shaft, a good weight cane. Really strong and will support a good weight. The ferrule is made of brass. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
It measures 94 cm 37 inches in length, the pommel is 4.9 cm 1 15/16 inches wide.

It's in excellent condition but with some signs of age and use as you'd expect at this age. Surface marks to the silver but no splits, holes or repairs. No damage or repairs to the shaft.
