Watch: Antique Silver Dimra Wrist Watch 1928

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed DF&C, for Dimier Brothers, importers of watches. The watch measures 29mm wide and 28.5mm high excluding the lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London (import mark), 1928, with a sponsor’s mark for Dimier Brothers. The case is in good condition, just the odd small mark but nothing serious at all. The lens looks good to the naked eye, there is some light marking if viewed very closely. The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
