Watch : Gents 1940s Avia Wrist Watch

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel movement, calibre AS 1002 984, which is working nicely. The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chromium plated and the screw-on case back is stainless steel. The case is in good condition with just very light marking. The case back is signed with the Avia name. It also states that the watch is water resistant but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
