Watch: Gents 1950s Benrus Date Pointer Wrist Watch, Knotted Lugs

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre CE 13, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Benrus Watch Co Inc. The watch measures 30mm diameter excluding the stylish knotted lugs and the winding crown. The case is 10kt rolled gold plate while the case back is stainless steel. The case is in lovely condition. The case back is signed inside with the Benrus name and logo. The lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial is in its original finish with original feuille shaped hands, subsidiary seconds dial, date pointer hand and day aperture. The day is set by turning the hands forwards until you reach the correct day, and the date is set by repeatedly pressing the winding crown. A new leather strap has been fitted.
