Watch : Gents 1950s Bernex Wrist Watch

The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Bernex name. The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is some rubbing to the plate but the base metal is brass so it is not too obvious to the naked eye. The case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The lens is in lovely condition… some natural light reflection showing in the photos. The signed sunburst dial is in its original finish with original hands and red centre seconds hand. A little discolouration but all very acceptable. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
