Watch : Gents 1950s Pesag Wrist Watch

Peasag was founded by Peretz Straussberg, a Holocaust surviver who emigrated to Switzerland, and Abraham Glanzer. Indeed the Pesag name is formed by their names, PEretz Straussberg Abraham Glanzer. The watch has a good quality 21 jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chromium plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. The case has general light marking and a little wear to the plate in places. The lens is in lovely condition (some natural light reflection showing in the photos). The signed dial has a handsome textured sunburst pattern, original hands and centre seconds.
