Watch: Gents 1950s Wirz Wrist Watch

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre Felsa 465, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Wirz Watch. Wirz was a brand name first registered in 1954. The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chromium plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is some marking and wear to the plate, mainly to the back of the watch. The case back is also signed Wirz Watch. It states that the watch is water protected but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial is in lovely condition with original hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
