Watch : Gents 1950s Zodiac Hermetic Wrist Watch

The watch has a signed 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner cover hence the Hermetic name as it was an early attempt at a waterproof watch. However, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is chromium plated while the screw-on case back, which is signed Zodiac on the inside and the outside, is stainless steel. There is some general surface marking, and some scratching to the back. The lens looks good to the naked eye, some light scratching if viewed very closely. The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers. There is some light freckling to the dial and light marking to the hands. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland). Please cost us regarding international shipping costs.
