Watch: Gents 1960s Gruen Precision Auto-wind Wrist Watch

The watch has a Felsa 4009 25-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Gruen Precision name, and the model reference 580 SS CD. The movement is protected by an inner cover. The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and overall the condition is good, just general light marking, and some scratches to the back where it looks like a tool has slipped. The lens is in good condition. The signed dial is in its original finish with cross hair detail, original hands, centre seconds hand and day / date display… the day is set by winding the hands forwards continuously and then the date is set by moving the hands backwards and forwards between a quarter past midnight and 9.30pm until the desired date is reached. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
