Watch : Gents 1960s Smiths Astral National 15 Wristwatch

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, stamped Made in England, which is working nicely. The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. The case is in good condition with just light marking, nothing too serious at all. The lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial is signed Smiths Astral National 15. It is in its original finish with original dauphine shaped hands and a subsidiary seconds dial. The National 15 name originates from the 'Put on your National Hat' advertising campaign launched at the International Watch and Jewellery Trade Fair at Earls Court in September 1965.
