Watch: Gents Hamilton “Perry” Wrist Watch 1931

The watch has 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 987-F, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Hamilton Watch Co and it has the serial number 4262696 which dates it back to 1931. The watch measures 27mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 14k white gold filled and it is in good condition, just a little scratching to the top bevelled edge of the case back. The back of the watch has an inscription, ‘J E Keltner, Columbus, O’… Mr Keltner was treasurer of the Ohio Farm Bureau The lens has light marking, almost like a light grade, but it is not too noticeable to the naked eye. The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. A handsome later leather strap has been fitted.
