Watch : Gents Large Longines Art Deco Style Wrist Watch

This watch appears to be a vintage piece which was expertly restored in the 1980s, with a later movement being fitted and the dial being skilfully refinished, with the result being a very handsome piece sympathetic to Art Deco style. The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 19.4, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed with the Longines name, and it has the serial number 13,199,329 which dates it back to 1966. The watch is a good wearable size at 25mm wide excluding the winding crown, and 40mm high excluding the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in lovely condition, just surface marking to the back but not too serious at all. The inside of the case back is signed with the Longines logo. The curved lens is in good condition. The signed silvered dial has been professionally painted with exploding numbers. There is some gentle unevenness to the dial.
