The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 23M, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Longines name and it has the serial number 6,817,207 which dates it back to 1944.
The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has a stainless steel bezel and case back and a plated centre. The inside of the case back is signed with the Longines name, together with the case reference 3216 35. At some stage in the watch’s life, the top lugs have been modified, perhaps with the intention of fitting a spring bar, but both lugs are now fixed and suitable for open ended straps.
The lens is in good condition, some white natural light reflection showing in the photos.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
