Watch : Gents Nivada Wrist Watch for J W Benson

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, Nivada calibre 35, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name of the original retailer, J W Benson. The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition. The case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos). The signed dial has its original dauphine shaped hands and a centre seconds hand. A new leather strap has been fitted.
