Watch : Gents Omega Geneve Automatic Wrist Watch, 1973

The watch has a 23-jewel calibre 1012 automatic movement (with hacking) which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and logo, and it has the serial number 36,775,266 which dates it back to 1973. The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the later winding crown and lugs. The case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. The case is in good condition, just a little rubbing to the back but you have to look very closely to see it. The case back has the Omega logo to the inside together with the case reference 166 0163 which is correct for the calibre 1012. There is a little unevenness to the case back, and a couple of short scratches. The lens is in good condition (light marking if viewed very closely). The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and date display (initially set at first position). The watch has a later dark brown leather strap with a gold plated buckle with an Omega logo. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
