UK POSTAGE ONLY FOR THIS ITEM
The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 283 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 11,818,888 which dates it back to 1947.
The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the plain winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition, just a couple of scratches to the screw-on case back. The inside of the case back has the Omega logo, together with the case reference 2179-4. This case reference ties up with the calibre 30T2 which went on to be renamed the 26x and 28x calibre families.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has been professionally re-finished at some point. Dauphine hands, red centre seconds sweep and outer minute track.
The watch has a vintage leather strap.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
