Watch: Gents Omega Wrist Watch 1963

The watch has a 24-jewel automatic movement, calibre 552, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 20,665,225 which dates it back to 1963. The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the later winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. The case looks good to the naked eye, if you look closely there is wear to the plate on the lugs and a patch on the back of the watch. The stainless steel case back is signed with the Omega logo, and it has the case reference 161.009 which is correct for the calibre 552 movement. The lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial is in its original textured linen finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers. A new leather strap has been fitted.
