Watch : Gents Pierce Wrist Watch

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Pierce Watch Co Inc. The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold tone while the case back is stainless steel. The lens is in good condition. The dial is in its original finish with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. The movement and the case do not appear to be original to each other… we would estimate the movement and dial to date back to the 1940s, whereas the case appears to be 1960s/70s. A later leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
