The watch has a fully automatic movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 36.5mm wide excluding the crown, and 35mm high excluding the lugs. The case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. Overall the case is in a fair condition, general light surface marks. The signed case back has the model number. It also states that the watch is water resistant but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and day / date display. The day is set by repeatedly pressing the crown. The date is set at first position, turning the crown anti-clockwise. There is some kind of mark or old repair to the top left of the dial but it is barely noticeable to the naked eye.
The watch comes on its original stainless steel two tone bracelet which currently fits an 18cm wrist, although there is capacity on the clasp to make it around 1cm bigger. Some surface marking but overall good condition.
The watch comes in a Seiko presentation box, complete with sleeve (the sleeve is a little tatty and has darkened with age) and a Seiko instruction booklet.
All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
Please contact us before placing international orders so that we can advise of shipping prices and to see if customs regulations allow us to post watches to your country. The international buyer is responsible for paying any import duties and taxes.
All of our watches are checked over before listing and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
We are a Vat registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the red 'Buy Now' button on each listing page.
We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
