Watch: Ladies Silver Trench Watch 1926

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The watch measures 27mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1926, with a sponsor’s mark for George Stockwell. From 1 June 1907, Stockwells acted as assay agents, facilitating the import into Britain of foreign gold and silver items which had to be assayed and hallmarked in a UK assay office before being released for retail. The front and sides of the case are in good condition, the back of the watch has some unevenness and marking. The glass lens is in lovely condition. The dial has a hairline running from number 10 down towards the sub seconds dial but it is faint. There is also a chip to the edge of the dial but it does not show when the bezel is fitted. The watch has a vintage strap… we can fit a new strap if preferred. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All Prices Include UK Postage.
