Watch: Mid-size 1940s Verdal Wrist Watch

The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The watch measures 24.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs. The case is chromium plated while the case back is stainless steel and it is all in beautiful condition. The convex lens has light marking if you look closely, but is absolutely fine when the watch is being worn. Some dark reflection showing on the front photos. The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. The name Verdal was registered by Leon Maitre & Fils of Le Noirmont, Switzerland in 1939. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
