Description
A good quality William IVth mahogany WINE CELLARETTE in first class condition. Of “sarcophagus” shape and raised on a solid plinth with castors beneath, the well-figured lid opens to reveal the re-lined lead interior, which can be used for magazines, newspapers etc., or for its original purpose which is to keep wine chilled. This lead interior is fully waterproof, so when filled with ice it will keep the champagne chilled for at least a couple of days! The flat top is a useful feature, as this cellarette can also be used as a lamp or coffee table. 30ins wide; 20ins deep; 20ins high. (76 x 51 x 51cms)
