Description

This is a charming walnut side table in the William & Mary style. It is of very good construction in solid walnut with applied walnut veneers. To the front there are a pair of drawers, fitted with their original solid brass handles. The rectangular top and the drawer fronts are cross banded with herringbone inlay. The wonderful legs are bobbin turned and barley twist in solid walnut and are united by a stylised X shaped under-stretcher. It would serve well in a number of different room scenarios within the modern home.

condition

We have had this lovely table sympathetically repolished in our workshops and it is now offered for sale in excellent condition with a great colour and patina.
