Wonderful pair of 19th Century candlesticks in pierced brass standing on four legs, barely distinguishable marks underneath W T & S and stylised sun mark revealing manufacturer as the renowned William Tonks and Sons brass founders.
Very decorative and ornate with charming age related wear and patina, these unusual candlesticks are sure to bring a touch of style and interest to any room.
In antique condition with tarnish to metal and verdigris underneath, knocks and dents, bent sconce, one of the sconces is stuck whilst the other can be easily removed, slightly leaning on both but fairly discreet, please check detailed photos provided.
Approximately 22cm tall, base is 12cm wide, take candle approximately 2cm in diameter, and weigh 600g each. .
