A Victorian fusee dial wall clock. A mahogany case with brass bezel and slim surround. A 12" painted dial with blued steel hands and signed 'W WILLIAMS CHELTENHAM'. An 8-day duration timepiece fusee mechanism. Circa 1860. William Williams of Cheltenham is recorded in Dowlers' 'Gloucestershire Clock and Watchmakers' book as working from 1839-1870.
