Wood Head & Face Hat Block / Antique French Milliners Mannequin Wig Display

This handsome antique wooden hat block which dates from c1900 would have originally been used to make and shape hats or wigs. This head shaped wooden hat block was made with hand carved facial features of eyes, nose and mouth, is a wonderful brown colour and has accumulated lots of pin holes and wear over the years giving it a highly decorative look. This decorative display piece would be ideal for displaying hats, wigs and other headwear and nice to have it's facial features.
