Description
Lovely hallmarked solid silver mug or challis with the The camel and ' God Grant Grace' are the symbol for the Worshipful Company of Grocers, the shield I believe is Oundle School. Full London hallmark with the date letter for 1906, the inscription to the front is for 1907 and the makers mark for Daniel & John Wellby. This was more than likely a presentation piece, the order were know to hand out quality silver gifts to members one certain commemorative dates. Previously we sold a silver box made for Queen Victoria's jubilee. The cup or challis is quite a simple shape but the handles are really unusual. The silver weight is 129.5 grams. Apologies for any reflections in the pictures, these are not marks in the silver. Happy to answer any questions.

measurements
