Wrist Watch Ladies 9ct Rose Gold 1942 Swiss Trebex 15 Jewel Serviced & FWO

Ladies vintage Swiss Trebex wrist watch in a chunky little 9ct rose gold Art Deco stepped case with ivory coloured dial and new old stock black leather strap. Cleaned, serviced and a new crystal fitted in September 2025, full working order and keeps excellent time with the regulator being correctly sat in the central position. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures as was extremely difficult to photograph). DIAL:- Highly attractive ivory coloured dial which is showing a little bit of overall patina commensurate with age. Clearly stamped in very fancy Art Deco black script; TREBEX NON MAGNETIC SWISS MADE. Raised yellow gold Arabic numbers with original rose gold delphine hour and minute hands which are both in good straight order. New domed crystal in lovely condition. CASE:- Original bright mirror finish chunky little 9ct solid rose gold (has a lovely pink blush) Art Deco stepped case which measures 1.8cm width (excluding the crown) and 2.5cm lug to lug. In excellent condition with no wear, just one tiny (micro) pin prick indentation to back cover (only visible if caught in certain light) and a few overall light and fine little surface scratches again commensurate with age. Hallmarked to the side of the case with the gold purity; 375. The back cover carries the most wonder bright circle engine turning to the inside and is clearly hallmarked; 9 .375, Castle (Edinburgh assay), very fancy capital letter M - dating her to 1942, stamped with the makers initials; B.W.C (British Watch Case Company), LONDON MADE and numbered with a low case no; 442. Carries several old service marks (certainly looks to have been very well maintained) with the most recent one dated; 9/25 from my longstanding wath repairer (who has just turned 90). MOVMENT:- Top grade Swiss 15 jewel highly polished steel plate lever movement which is clearly stamped; 15 JEWELS UNADJUSTED SWISS MADE. Original crisp winding crown. Hand set operates smoothly and correctly. STRAP:- Complete with a new old stock black leather opened ended strap (to accommodate the fixed lugs) with gold tone buckle which compliments the watch very well. Measures; 19cm / 71/2" total length. APPRAISAL:- A ladies highly attractive vintage Art Deco Swiss wrist watch in super condition.
