Description
On offer is this WW2 sweetheart lipstick made of unmarked but tested sterling silver with guilloche enamel in dark green, navy blue and sky blue with Royal Signals with the insignia of the Royal Corps of Signals in silver. The insignia features the Roman god Mercury standing on a globe holding a staff in one hand and the other held aloft. A banner beneath the globe has the motto Certa Cito Latin for swift and sure. The lipstick case measures 5.3 cm in length and is marked to the bottom Elizabeth Arden London and is offered in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the enamel. There is a small ding to the silver base. Thank you for looking.
